At the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) manifesto launch in Takoradi on Sunday, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as NAPO, delivered a resounding endorsement of the party's flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. NAPO, who serves as Bawumia’s running mate, praised the Vice President's leadership, vision, and contributions to Ghana's development, describing him as "the man of the moment."
In his address, NAPO highlighted Bawumia's pivotal role in transforming Ghana's economy and spearheading the nation’s digital revolution. He noted that Bawumia's innovative approach to governance has led to significant strides in economic growth and improved the lives of many Ghanaians. According to NAPO, these achievements are a testament to Bawumia's exceptional leadership and clear vision for the country’s future.
"I’m a strong believer in Dr. Bawumia," NAPO declared. "I have worked with him more than many know. I believe in his ability and knowledge, and surely, he’s the man of the moment. I’m committed to serving him loyally to ensure his vision becomes a reality."
NAPO also underscored his personal commitment to supporting Bawumia's vision, expressing confidence in the Vice President’s ability to lead Ghana into a new era of prosperity. He described Bawumia as a leader with a rare combination of humility, firmness, and integrity.
"Dr. Bawumia is a man of vision, humble but firm, affable, loyal, honest, a problem solver, a very hard worker, a go-getter, and a man of integrity," NAPO affirmed. "He’s destined to take Ghana to the next level."
Addressing potential concerns about Bawumia’s integrity, NAPO defended his running mate’s spotless record, stating, "I know Dr. Alhaji Bawumia is not corrupt. His family life has never been accused of corruption, and his public life has never faced such accusations. He has never been investigated and will never be corrupted."
As the NPP gears up for the upcoming elections, NAPO’s endorsement of Bawumia adds significant weight to the party’s campaign, reinforcing Bawumia’s position as the leader capable of guiding Ghana to greater heights.
